Mumbai Terror - Hum Jeet Ke Bhi Haar Gaye

Success of our Security Personnel
Our security forces successfully overpowered and also killed the Terrorists who were holed up in TAJ, Trident and Nariman House in Mumbai creating mayhem and havoc this month.
Mumbaikers were rejoicing and chanting slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai, Vandemataram etc. when the Terrorists got killed.

Why are we rejoicing?

Are we rejoicing because the Terrorists killed our Top Police brass or because they brought the whole of India to its knees for 3 days? Is it because our guests who we Indians treat as gods are killed or is it because they destroyed our Heritage structures and others?
The terrorists, in any case came here to die. So by killing a few young and misguided people who we called Terrorists, have we really won this battle?

Who has won the battle?

In fact they have won. They have achieved their objective. They had come here to kill hundreds of people which they did. They wanted to destroy our heritage structures, they did. They wanted India to come to a stand still, they did. They wanted free publicity of their terror, they got it.

They kept us on tenterhooks in such a manner that our former Prime Minister Mr. V.P.Singh died, we did not even take cognizance of it. Nor did any of the top National Channels aired this properly.

Terrorism is like AIDS/Cancer

Terrorism is like cancer. That is, like cancer it is detrimental. So prevention is better than cure. This could have been prevented. Then why was it not prevented? What were our dear leaders doing?
They were not doing anything as they were casual in attitude or they were busy with their selfish motives. Even now they will not change because you/we are happy and so happy that upon the death of hand full of terrorists you/we were rejoicing. This has given them more strength and again they have become their usual self, for example look how casual the top two of Maharashtra are.

The Chief Minister – Extricating advantage from the rubble and the dead bodies

When the whole of India and several other countries are mourning the death of around 200 people (and more than double wounded) the Chief Minister and his entourage officially visits the Taj Hotel today to assess the situation (probably), but along with his son and a noted Film Director.

Had his son not been an actor perhaps he would never have entertained any film personality in this visit. At this point of time when hundreds of families across the world are crying as they lost their near and dear ones, look at the ugly hypocrisy and selfishness of the top person in the state.

Instead of owning the responsibility and quitting the office the Chief Minister misuses his power. This is because we were happy that Terrorists have died and rejoicing. Had we rejoiced a little more then he would have brought the whole of Bollywood along with him and leading to more offers for his son.

The Deputy Chief Minister – Hundreds of Foreigners killed and wounded, so what

When guests come to India we Indians sing with pride - Mehamaan jo hamaara hota hai, wo jaan se pyaara hota hai (Our guest is more important than out own life). Lekin hum ne to unke jaan hi le liye (but we ourselves took their lives).

Hundreds of innocent foreigners in India are killed mercilessly in Terror strikes, but for Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister this is a small thing. He says 'Bade sheharon me eise chote cheez hote hi rehte hai'.

He apparently is a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan and has seen "Dilwale Dulhania le jaayenge" several times, in which Shah Rukh says "Bade bade sheharon me eise chote chote cheez hote rehte hai".

If hundreds of Foreigners getting killed is a small thing then what is a big thing for this second in command of the state?

Ask for their Heads
It is a shame that a bunch of misguided youngsters threw the whole of the country out of gear. So my dear fellow Indians this is not the time for rejoicing, this is the time to know why it happened. Why it could not be prevented? What are our so called leaders doing? After several blasts in Mumbai what action have the Politicians taken and implemented? What actions are they going to take to ensure that this eventuality will not happen again?

Let the Chief Minister and his deputy along with Home Minister take the responsibility and either quit the office (like Shivraj Patil) or give strong assurance that this kind of terror will never take place.

So stop rejoicing. Enough is enough. Take no more. If required take processions to secretariat, Assembly or to chief Ministers House etc, Remember, Mumbai is your place, you need to live, not this bunch of jokers, who have no respect for human life.
